Reto was a postdoc working with myself and Jared Leadbetter on understanding D/H fractionations in bacteria, particularly the role of NADPH reduction in setting large 2H enrichments and depletions. He received his Ph.D. from EAWAG in Zurich, where he worked with Thomas Hofstetter.
